Purpose of the Workshop
The training aimed to create educational resources that cater to children with diverse learning needs, including those with visual and auditory challenges. These inclusive theme books are designed to enrich learning experiences using innovative features such as:
- Tactile Engagement: Materials with textured surfaces to facilitate hands-on learning.
- Audio Assistance: Embedded audio chips providing playback for rhymes, music, and interactive stories.
- Sensory Integration: Introduction of familiar scents to enhance comprehension and sensory experiences.
This initiative aligns with NCERT’s mission to ensure equitable education for all and to empower children with innovative learning tools.
Dr Manoj Shukla’s Role
