Day 3: E-Content Development Workshop at SCERT Uttarakhand

 

SCERT Uttarakhand | IT Lab "E-Learning Centre" | Digital Transformation in Teaching

The third day of the E-Content Development Workshop at SCERT Uttarakhand was packed with insightful sessions and hands-on training, equipping teachers with digital tools and pedagogical approaches aligned with NEP 2020.

Day Kickoff: Learning Log & Script Sharing

The day started with an open session, where participants reflected on their learning logs and shared their text scripts from the previous day. IT Department faculty Ramesh Badoni and resource person Bhaskar Joshi provided feedback on the initial drafts, helping teachers refine their scripting blueprints.

📖 NEP 2020 & E-Content Creation

Ramesh Badoni emphasized the role of NEP 2020 in e-content creation and introduced the 6E Teaching/Lesson Plan Model, guiding teachers in structuring their content effectively.

  • He provided exemplars to demonstrate e-content lesson planning.
  • Showcased a sample lesson plan and video, highlighting the growing need for digital learning content.
  • S.P. Verma contributed by discussing the importance of case studies and content pedagogy in alignment with NEP 2020.


💻 Hands-on Training: Digital Tools & E-Content Development

Post tea break, Bhaskar Joshi led an engaging session on practical script creation using various ICT tools:

  • PhET Simulations for interactive science learning
  • Quiz Creation tools for student engagement
  • Evaluation Techniques for digital assessments
  • ICT Tool Integration in e-content development

The ITDA team played a crucial role in providing technical support, ensuring a smooth learning experience for participants.


📡 Understanding PM eVidya & Digital Channels

In the afternoon session, Pushpa Aswal from PM eVidya introduced participants to:

  • The PM eVidya channels, which are available via YouTube & DTH frequencies.
  • The role of digital broadcasting in education, expanding learning opportunities beyond traditional classrooms.

The workshop witnessed high enthusiasm from teachers, working diligently to integrate ICT in their teaching plans. Their dedication toward adapting digital education tools is a significant step in aligning classroom teaching with 21st-century learning needs.
