Representation from SCERT Uttarakhand
Keeping in view work in the field of ICT integration, Ramesh Prasad Badoni, Lecturer, IT Department, SCERT Uttarakhand, was deputed to participate in the workshop as a Resource Person. Alongside him, Manodhar Nainwal, ICT awardee teacher from Uttarakhand, also joined the workshop, further strengthening the state’s contribution to the national initiative.

The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from 40 experienced educators and ICT experts representing different states and institutions. These participants, along with several other national ICT awardee teachers, contributed their expertise in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing techno-pedagogical integration models.

Opening Remarks: The workshop commenced with insightful opening remarks by Prof. Indu Kumar, Head of the Department of ICT, NCERT.

Guidance & Coordination: The sessions were directed and coordinated by Associate Professor Angel Ratnabai, CIET-NCERT, along with her dedicated team.

Collaborative Development: Resource Persons worked in groups to draft, review, and refine techno-pedagogical integration models for classroom implementation.

Future Roadmap: The draft handbook prepared during this workshop will undergo further refinement through pilot trials, with the final version expected by November–December 2025.
Objective of the Handbook
The central aim of the handbook is to provide practical teaching plans that demonstrate how digital resources, interactive tools, and innovative pedagogy can be seamlessly integrated into classroom practices. This will support teachers nationwide in implementing NEP 2020’s vision of technology-driven, competency-based learning.
A Collective Effort for Future-Ready Classrooms
The participation of award-winning teachers and academic experts ensured that the handbook reflects ground-level classroom realities while embedding innovative digital practices. The involvement of SCERT Uttarakhand representatives, alongside national leaders in ICT pedagogy, highlights the state’s commitment to advancing technology-enabled quality education.
This initiative marks another milestone in CIET-NCERT’s efforts to equip educators with 21st-century teaching strategies, ensuring that learners benefit from interactive, engaging, and future-ready classrooms.
