The IT department of the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) in Uttarakhand recently held a workshop to introduce participants to QR code technology and its alignment with the Diksha portal. The workshop aimed to equip educators with the skills to create QR codes that link to e-textbooks and other learning materials on the Diksha platform. Shiv Prakash Verma Coordinated the work flow.

- Prof Dr. Kaushik Ghosh from Petroleum University delivered a presentation on the background and functionalities of QR codes, specifically highlighting their applications in integrating e-books and textbooks into the school education system.
- Prof Dr. Kajal from NCERT also served as an online resource person and provided a lecture on using the Diksha portal for the same task.
- Objective: The primary goal was to train participants on generating QR codes that link to textbooks uploaded on the Diksha portal.
- Support Team: The program was supported by the IT department's faculty members, R.P. Badoni, Pushpa Aswal, and Sudhir Nautiyal, along with other staff members.
The workshop equipped participants with the knowledge and skills to create QR codes, enabling them to enhance the learning experience for students by providing them with easy access to digital learning resources through the Diksha portal.
