Five-Day Workshop on Hindi Auxiliary Book Development Commences in Dehradun:"Sanskrit Vinodini"

Dehradun, June 18, 2024 - The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Uttarakhand, inaugurated a five-day workshop today aimed at developing the Hindi auxiliary book "Sanskrit Vinodini" for Class 10 (Part 2). The workshop is being held at the Azim Premji Foundation, Tarla Amwala, Dehradun.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Asha Rani Painuily, Joint Director of SCERT, Uttarakhand. In her inaugural address, she emphasized the importance of developing quality educational resources that cater to the diverse learning needs of students. She praised the collaborative efforts of educators and experts in bringing this project to fruition. Bandana Garbyal, Director Academic Research and Training, Uttarakhand praised the workplan and wishing the team to look forward regarding quality education 


Dr. K. N. Bijalwan, Assistant Director of SCERT, Uttarakhand, also addressed the gathering. He highlighted the significance of the auxiliary book in enhancing students' understanding and appreciation of Hindi literature and language. Dr. Bijalwan commended the dedicated team of educators and specialists involved in the workshop and encouraged participants to engage actively in the development process.


The workshop aims to refine and enhance the content of the "Sanskrit Vinodini" auxiliary book, ensuring it is comprehensive and aligns with the latest educational standards and methodologies. The book is designed to support students in mastering the intricacies of Hindi language and literature, providing them with a robust educational tool.


Several other officials from SCERT and the Azim Premji Foundation were also present at the event, showing their support and commitment to the successful execution of this initiative. The collaborative spirit and shared expertise are expected to result in a well-rounded educational resource that will benefit countless students across Uttarakhand. The workshop will run until June 22, 2024, with various sessions focusing on content development, pedagogical strategies, and peer reviews. The final output from this workshop is anticipated to be a valuable addition to the educational resources available to Class 10 students in the state.

This initiative is part of SCERT, Uttarakhand's ongoing efforts to enhance educational quality and accessibility, ensuring that students receive the best possible support in their academic pursuits.
