Teachers and Officers from Various States Gain Insights at DIDAC India 2024 in Flagship of CIET-NCERT


Today, the AI Tools and Content Development Team from CIET-NCERT, along with teachers and officers from different states, attended the DIDAC India 2024 Exhibition. This visit provided them with valuable insights into the latest educational products and solutions from around the world. Joint Director Dr Amrendra Behra from CIET-NCERT encouraged everyone to adopt modern technology and use digital tools in classrooms across India.


Among the attendees were national award-winning teachers, who explored new trends in education. Prof Kanan, a coordinator from CIET, took care of all the arrangements, including tickets and meals, making the visit smooth and informative for the participants. Ramesh Badoni, Pradeep Negi, and Bhaskar Joshi are representing Uttarakhand.

With over 13 years of success, DIDAC India has become Asia’s largest event for showcasing educational resources and technology-based products for all levels of education and skills training.

 This annual international exhibition and conference addresses the growing need for these products in the Indian subcontinent. 

The event is backed by international partners like Global Victoria (Australia), British Education Suppliers Association (BESA), and Didacta (Germany), as well as the Worlddidac Association and Education Finland.

DIDAC India 2024 is expected to be bigger and better, taking place from September 18 to 20 at the Yashobhoomi India International Convention & Expo Centre in New Delhi. It is a must-visit for anyone looking to engage with India's rapidly growing economy and connect with leaders in the education and skills sector.


The afternoon session on 19th September 2024 (Day-3), at the DIDAC event, began after the lunch break at 2:00 PM. The first session, titled LLMs in Action: Supercharge your teaching with language models, was led by Mr. Sunil Prabhakar, a Digital Media Professional. This session ran from 2:00 to 3:15 PM, where participants explored how large language models (LLMs) can enhance teaching practices, making classroom learning more interactive and personalized through AI technology.
Following a short tea break from 3:15 to 3:30 PM, Mr. Sunil Prabhakar resumed the next session titled The Art of the Prompt: Mastering AI communication for educators, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. This session focused on developing effective AI communication skills for educators, particularly how to craft precise prompts for leveraging AI in educational contexts, thereby optimizing the use of AI tools in the classroom.

In the evening session at Qutub Residency Hotel, a warm and engaging get-together was held for all the awardees, officers, and teachers. The event provided a platform for participants to introduce themselves, share their experiences, and celebrate their success stories. It was a vibrant exchange of ideas, where educators discussed their innovative approaches and achievements, fostering a sense of camaraderie and inspiration among the group. The session allowed everyone to connect on a personal level, strengthening bonds and creating a collaborative spirit for future endeavors.
