The Department of Planning & Monitoring, SCERT Uttarakhand has initiated a five-day exposure visit to Lakshadweep Union Territory, aimed at the capacity building of its officers and faculty members. This visit is designed to provide an interactive learning experience, fostering academic collaboration and knowledge exchange between educators of Uttarakhand and Lakshadweep.
Engaging with Lakshadweep’s Educational Institutions
Under the leadership of Additional Director, SCERT Uttarakhand, the team visited:
- DIET Kavaratti – The premier teacher training institute of Lakshadweep
- Govt Junior Basic School (East), Kavaratti – A key institution providing foundational education
- PM Shri Senior Secondary School, Kavaratti – A model school excelling in academics and co-curricular activities
During these visits, SCERT Uttarakhand faculty interacted with teachers, students, and administrators to understand their teaching methodologies, innovative classroom practices, and local education challenges.
