On April 6, 2025, Ramesh P. Badoni, National Awardee and IT Faculty from SCERT Uttarakhand, participated as a mentor for fellow mentors under the visionary initiative — the National Mission for Mentoring (NMM), launched by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The NMM, envisioned in Para 15.11 of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, aims to create a robust pool of outstanding professionals who are willing to mentor and support school teachers in enhancing educational outcomes and classroom practices across the country.
Area of Mentoring: ICT Integration with the 5E Teaching Model
The focal point of the session conducted by Ramesh P. Badoni was ICT integration in teaching plans, with a specific emphasis on designing lessons using the 5E Instructional Model — Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, and Evaluate.
