In a proud and heartwarming development, two brilliant girl students from government schools in Uttarakhand have been selected for a prestigious Science Enrichment Internship Program (SEP2025@IITK) at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. The program is a joint initiative of the Agastya International Foundation and IIT Kanpur, aimed at nurturing scientific talent among school students through project-based learning under the guidance of renowned professors.

These girls will participate in an intensive, hands-on learning experience from 12th May to 23rd June 2025 at IIT Kanpur. Selected after a rigorous process of tests and interviews, they will dive into the world of science and technology, engaging in high-impact projects and interactions with top-tier faculty.
Proud Legacy Continues
This proud moment follows in the footsteps of Kartikey, a student from GIC Tharali, Chamoli, who was selected last year for a similar internship at IISc Bangalore. The growing legacy of Uttarakhand's government school students continues to shine as they make their mark on premier scientific platforms.

Mr. R.P. Badoni, program coordinator and IT faculty at SCERT, who has been leading this initiative for the past two years, emphasized:
