SCERT Uttarakhand Faculty Research Published: Strengthening Teachers’ E-Content Creation for DIKSHA

SCERT Uttarakhand continues to contribute significantly to research-based academic discourse in the field of Educational Technology. Adding to this milestone, a research paper authored by Ramesh Prasad Badoni, IT–Faculty, IT Department, SCERT Uttarakhand, has been successfully published in a reputed peer-reviewed international journal.

The paper titled A Study on Enhancing Teachers’ Competence in E-Content Creation for the DIKSHA Platform after SCERT Workshop Training” examines the effectiveness of professional development workshops organized by SCERT Uttarakhand in improving teachers’ digital competencies.

Research Highlights

The research involved teacher educators from all 13 DIETs of Uttarakhand along with school teachers from various districts of the state. Using a pre-test and post-test research design, the study assessed participants’ ICT skills, familiarity with web tools, awareness of the DIKSHA portal, and their ability to create quality digital learning resources.

Key findings reveal that:

  • Teachers showed significant improvement in ICT proficiency after the SCERT workshop.

  • Participants demonstrated enhanced confidence and capability in e-content creation using web technologies.

  • The quality and pedagogical value of digital resources developed for the DIKSHA and SWAYAM platforms improved notably.

The study strongly validates the role of continuous professional development (CPD) programs in empowering teachers for digital pedagogy and technology-integrated teaching.
