Six Days of Digital Content Mapping: A Step Toward Future‑Ready Classrooms

From 21st to 26th November 2025, SCERT Uttarakhand hosted a transformative six‑day workshop on digital content mapping and resource development aligned with the new NCERT books. The workshop was chaired and concluded in the presence of Deputy Director Ajeet Bhandari, whose guidance pointed out the importance of the hour—creating accessible, high‑quality e‑content for students across all classes.

  • Visionary leadership: Deputy Director Ajeet Bhandari inspired participants and subject matter experts (SMEs) to embrace digital innovation in education.

  • Expert facilitation: Resource individuals Supriya Bahukhandi and Bhaskar Joshi guided participants through the structure of e‑content creation, focusing on ICT tools for planning and script writing.

  • Innovative initiation: IT faculty R.P. Badoni introduced the concept of content mapping and analysis, laying the foundation for script writing and video production for DIKSHA and PM eVidya channels.

  • Seamless coordination: Shive Prakash Verma and Pushpa Aswal ensured smooth execution of the six‑day program, balancing sessions in the seminar hall and IT lab.

  • Collaborative contributions: SMEs shared their experiences in open sessions, enriching the dialogue on digital pedagogy.

  • Creative showcase: On the final day, participants presented sample texts and videos, offering a glimpse into the future of classroom‑ready digital content.

The workshop was not just about learning tools—it was about reimagining education. Participants explored:

  • Mapping content analysis before script writing.

  • Using ICT tools to design bilingual, accessible scripts.

  • Creating video lessons tailored for diverse learners.

  • Building confidence to contribute to national platforms like DIKSHA and PM eVidya.

The valedictory session reflected a collective commitment, as participants expressed their readiness to carry forward the vision of creating inclusive and future-oriented content. National ICT and State awardee teachers, along with subject matter experts (SMEs), are contributing to the creation of e-content and have already produced sample videos; we have sown the seeds of innovation. The workshop serves as a milestone in empowering educators to integrate traditional knowledge with digital tools, ensuring that learning remains engaging, equitable, and inspiring.
