The Introduction to Innovation and Design Thinking module provides a structured framework for fostering creativity, problem-solving, and entrepreneurial skills. It begins with Step 1: Empathy, where participants explore understanding user needs through various strategies and activities.

This phase emphasises the importance of connecting with real-world issues, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and studying the journeys of innovators. It also covers Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), highlighting the significance of protecting creative ideas. Moving into Step 2: Define, participants learn to sharpen problem statements through focused activities, ensuring they accurately address specific challenges.

In Step 3: Ideation, participants engage in brainstorming techniques, circle time discussions, and explore innovations in SPACE, astronomy, and corporate R&D. They are introduced to tools like virtual simulators and 3D printing, enabling them to visualise and experiment with their ideas. The prototyping phase (Step 4) involves creating tangible models, guided by dialogues with entrepreneurs and experts in business planning and design thinking.

The programme culminates in Step 5: Iteration and Testing, where participants refine their prototypes, develop pitches, and present their solutions, gaining feedback from industry experts and peers. Throughout the process, students interact with innovators, including hackathon participants, fostering a collaborative and entrepreneurial mindset.

समेकित शिक्षा के अन्तर्गत लोक चित्रांकन प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का सफल समापन

 

समेकित शिक्षा के अन्तर्गत आयोजित लोक चित्रांकन प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम अपने चौथे चरण को पूर्ण कर सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ। इस चार चरणों के कार्यक्रम में कुल 57 प्रतिभागियों ने प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त किया। प्रतिभागियों में प्राथमिक शिक्षकों के साथ-साथ एल.टी. कला अध्यापक एवं डायट फैकल्टी ने भी भाग लिया। सभी ने लोककला के थॉट प्रॉसेस को समझा और इसे शिक्षण में प्रभावी रूप से प्रयोग करने के लिए नई दृष्टि प्राप्त की।

कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य और महत्व

इस प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य कला के सरलतम रूपों को पहचानना, सृजित करना और उन्हें शिक्षण के प्रभावी टूल के रूप में उपयोग करना था। लोककला चित्रण न केवल बालसुलभ है, बल्कि यह लोक संस्कृति को बढ़ावा देने और विद्यार्थियों को अपनी जड़ों से जोड़ने का सशक्त माध्यम भी है।

A Team of Maharashtra State Education Dept. Visits SCERT Uttarakhand: A Valuable Exchange of Educational Practices

Today, a team from the Maharashtra State Education Department, comprising DIET faculty, SCERT faculty, and PM SHRI school teachers, visited SCERT Uttarakhand as part of an exposure visit to learn from the developments in the education sector in Uttarakhand. This interaction provided an excellent opportunity for a cross-state exchange of ideas and insights, particularly focusing on the initiatives taken in Maharashtra under the NEP 2020 framework.

The team from Maharashtra shared the recent developments in the state’s educational landscape, with a special focus on the PM SHRI schools. These schools, a key initiative under the state government’s drive to enhance the quality of education, were discussed in the context of how they are contributing to the realization of the goals set by the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The team highlighted the initiatives undertaken to improve infrastructure, curriculum, and teaching methodologies in these schools, aiming to create a more inclusive and quality education system.

In return, the Uttarakhand team led by Dr. K.N. Bijalwan, Assistant Director at SCERT Uttarakhand, Dr. Rakesh Gairola, and Dr. Ranjan Bhatt, Lecturer at SCERT Uttarakhand, shared their best practices and insights into the ongoing implementation of NEP 2020 in Uttarakhand. They discussed the state's efforts to improve teacher training, curriculum reforms, and the integration of technology into education, all in compliance with the NEP’s vision of fostering holistic, inclusive, and student-centered education.

The interaction, lasting around 25 to 30 minutes, allowed both teams to engage in a brief but meaningful dialogue, sharing experiences, challenges, and successes. The exchange of ideas was enriching and has the potential to lead to further collaboration and mutual learning between the two states.

In conclusion, the guest team expressed their sincere gratitude to SCERT Uttarakhand for organizing the interaction on such short notice and without any prior information. This collaborative meeting serves as a great example of how states can learn from each other's successes and challenges, strengthening the collective efforts towards achieving the goals outlined in NEP 2020. The interaction not only highlighted the progress made in both states but also emphasized the importance of such visits in enhancing the quality of education across the country. Both teams left with a renewed commitment to implementing the best practices learned and furthering their contributions to the nation's educational development.

Strategic Planning and Action Plan Program for SCERT & DIETs Planning Team Members

 

The Department of Planning & Monitoring, SCERT Uttarakhand, in collaboration with Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur, is organizing a five-day Executive Education Program on Strategic Planning and Action Plan from March 19–23, 2025. Program Coordinator Dr. Ajay K Chaurasia said, this specialized program aims to enhance the strategic capabilities of SCERT and DIETs planning team members, equipping them with advanced planning and implementation tools.

3. Develop Strategies to address challenges in the implementation and evaluation of educational plans.
4. Identify Key Areas requiring strategic changes for organizational transformation within SCERT & DIETs.

समापन समारोह : राष्ट्रीय जनसंख्या शिक्षा परियोजना कार्यशाला

राष्ट्रीय जनसंख्या शिक्षा परियोजना कार्यशाला के अंतिम दिवस पर आज कार्यशाला का शुभारंभ  निदेशक  NCERT प्रोफेसर दिनेश प्रसाद सकलानी द्वारा किया गया। इस अवसर पर निदेशक अकादमिक शोध एवं प्रशिक्षण उत्तराखंड बंदना गर्ब्याल ने निर्देशक NCERT को राष्ट्रीय स्तर की समीक्षा बैठक एवं इस कार्यशाला को उत्तराखंड राज्य में आयोजित करने हेतु धन्यवाद ज्ञापित किया।

कार्यशाला के दौरान अपर निदेशक, राज्य शैक्षिक अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण परिषद उत्तराखंड, प्रदीप कुमार रावत द्वारा विगत तीन दिनों में देश भर के सभी राज्यों, केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों एवं चार क्षेत्रीय शिक्षा संस्थानों से आए हुए प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा प्रस्तुत किए गए महत्वपूर्ण विषयों की संक्षिप्त झलक निदेशक NCERT के सम्मुख प्रस्तुत की गई। प्रोफेसर सकलानी ने सभी राज्यों के प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा अपने-अपने राज्यों में किशोर किशोरियों से संबंधित मुद्दों पर किए गए नवाचारों, उत्कृष्ट प्रयासों एवं गतिविधियों की सराहना की।

आज की बैठक में समग्र शिक्षा उत्तराखंड के अपर राज्य परियोजना निदेशक कुलदीप गैरोला ने भी प्रतिभागिता की और उन्होंने फिट इंडिया थीम को सफल बनाने हेतु सभी प्रतिभागियों को सक्रिय रूप से इसमें भाग लेने का आह्वान किया। इस अवसर पर निदेशक NCERT प्रोफेसर दिनेश प्रसाद सकलानी ने सभी राज्यों के प्रतिनिधियों को निर्देशित किया कि उनके द्वारा जनसंख्या शिक्षा कार्यक्रम हेतु किए गए शोध कार्यों और उनके निष्कर्षों को तत्काल धरातल स्तर पर लागू करने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 2020 के संदर्भ में राष्ट्रीय जनसंख्या शिक्षा कार्यक्रम की ठोस योजना बनाकर क्रियान्वयन करने पर विशेष बल दिया।

Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat Inaugurates IT Lab as E-Learning Center at SCERT Uttarakhand

 

In a significant step towards strengthening technology-enabled education, Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat inaugurated the newly developed IT Lab at SCERT Uttarakhand. This state-of-the-art e-learning center has been established in joint collaboration with the Information Technology Development Agency (ITDA) and SCERT, aiming to enhance digital skills and IT literacy among teachers across the state.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Dr Mukul K Sati, Director of Secondary Education, Ajay Naudiyal Director of Elementary Education; Joint Director Padmendra Saklani; and MLA Umesh Sharma Kau. Pradeep Kumar Rawat, Additional Director of SCERT, extended a warm welcome to the Education Minister, while Additional Director Pradeep Rawat welcomed all officials and guests. Assistant Director Dr. K. N. Bijalwan played a pivotal role in anchoring the event and formally welcoming the attendees.

A total of 35 teachers from different parts of Uttarakhand were present at the occasion. They were jointly addressed by the Education Minister, who emphasized the importance of integrating modern technology into the teaching-learning process. He urged teachers and education officers to work collaboratively towards advancing technology-enabled education not only within the state but also on a global scale.

Virendra Chauhan, a representative from ITDA, provided an insightful briefing on the IT Lab’s infrastructure and capabilities. The Ramesh Badoni IT department faculty and program in-charge have meticulously designed a comprehensive six-day training program to equip teachers with essential digital skills, as discussed during the meet.

In his address, Dr. Dhan Singh Rawat encouraged all stakeholders to actively participate in transforming the education landscape by leveraging digital tools and innovative teaching methodologies. The newly inaugurated IT Lab stands as a milestone in Uttarakhand’s journey toward digital empowerment in education, fostering an environment where teachers can harness technology for enhanced learning experiences.

First Educational Empowerment Dialogue with Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh at SCERT Auditorium

**Education Minister DR. DHAN SINGH and Teachers' First Dialogue Meet at SCERT Auditorium

A significant dialogue between Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh and government inter college/High School/Junior School  teachers took place at the SCERT Auditorium in Dehradun. Over 500 teachers, along with key education officials, participated in this meet to discuss various challenges faced by schools across Uttarakhand. He  welcomed and forwarded appointments to new office assistant in first session of the dialogue.

Key Issues Raised by Teachers

Infrastructure and Space Constraints

• Government Inter College (GIC) from Badasi, Dwara, Jaspur, Dehradun expressed concerns over no space in Schools or PM SHREE Schools and requested additional rooms.

• PM SHREE School in Kalsi faces hostel issues in the girls' school.

• Manohar Lal, a teacher from Dharchula, highlighted building-related issues in his school.

• Atal School, Sundarpur, Bageshwar, appreciated efforts but pointed out that food is not provided for all kids and that the school lacks a playground.

• A teacher from Nainidanda requested a smart board for digital learning.

• Kapkot School struggles with virtual classes due to a lack of rooms and proper infrastructure.

Books, Technology, and Classroom Shortages

• A teacher from Bahru, Champawat mentioned no book bank, lack of classrooms, no smart boards, and electrification issues. Additionally, their school falls under D-category buildings, making it unsafe for students.

• A teacher from GGIC Lakhibagh, Dehradun highlighted issues with Sanskrit books not being provided by officials. She also mentioned that more students are enrolled, but fewer teachers are available.

• A teacher from GIC Dobhalwala stressed the need for science subjects to be properly divided for efficient learning.

• Disaster management books and window glass replacements were requested.

• Schools lack computer teachers, home science, music teachers, and moral science subjects, creating a major gap in education quality.

• Technology integration, including projectors and starboards, was requested for enhanced learning experiences.

Teacher-Related Concerns

• Vocational education teachers raised concerns about the IT subject needing better faculty and resources.

• Interregional transfer issues were brought up, as the court had previously halted such transfers, but Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh assured resolution in coordination with Chief Minister Dhami.

• Journey leave provisions and officials being unavailable for duty assignments were also mentioned.

• Teacher appointments were discussed, with 2500 BRP/CRP appointments and 1500 LT teachers joining soon. Additionally, 600 lecturers are undergoing examinations conducted by the Uttarakhand Public Service Commission.

Government Response and Assurances

• Education Minister Dr. Dhan Singh listened to all grievances and assured solutions in a calm and composed manner.

• MLA Umesh Kau Sharma addressed the gathering, appreciating the efforts of the education department and supporting solutions for teachers.

राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण परिषद (NCERT) के तत्वावधान में एससीईआरटी उत्तराखंड द्वारा राष्ट्रीय जनसंख्या शिक्षा कार्यक्रम की वार्षिक परियोजना समीक्षा बैठक और कार्यशाला का शुभारंभ किया गया। इस कार्यशाला में देशभर से 75 से अधिक प्रतिभागी भाग ले रहे हैं।

मुख्य बिंदु:

• कार्यशाला का उद्घाटन: उत्तराखंड के शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने किया। उन्होंने विभिन्न राज्यों एवं केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से आए प्रतिनिधियों का स्वागत किया।

3. आंध्र प्रदेश

   • विद्यार्थियों के मानसिक स्वास्थ्य पर शोध अध्ययन प्रस्तुत किया गया।

   • निष्कर्ष में सरकारी स्कूलों के छात्रों का मानसिक स्वास्थ्य निजी स्कूलों के छात्रों की तुलना में बेहतर पाया गया।

4. उड़ीसा

   • मोबाइल फोन के उपयोग पर शोध प्रस्तुत किया गया।

   • 38% से अधिक विद्यार्थी लगातार मोबाइल का अत्यधिक उपयोग कर रहे हैं, जिससे उनके मानसिक स्वास्थ्य और पारिवारिक संबंधों पर नकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ रहा है।

• अन्य राज्यों के प्रतिनिधि आगामी दिनों में अपने शोध कार्य प्रस्तुत करेंगे।

देहरादून। एससीईआरटी उत्तराखंड के सभागार में राज्य परियोजना समग्र शिक्षा उत्तराखंड द्वारा राज्य स्तरीय मैथ्स विजार्ड एवं स्पेल जीनियस प्रतियोगिता का सफल आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का उद्घाटन उत्तराखंड सरकार के शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत द्वारा दीप प्रज्वलित कर किया गया। इस अवसर पर अपर राज्य परियोजना निदेशक कुलदीप गैरोला ने मुख्य अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए प्रतियोगिता की रूपरेखा प्रस्तुत की। उन्होंने बताया कि इस राज्य स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता में प्रदेश के 13 जनपदों से 26-26 प्रतिभागियों के साथ प्रत्येक जनपद से दो एस्कॉर्ट शिक्षक-शिक्षिकाओं ने भाग लिया।

प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन

स्पेल जीनियस प्रतियोगिता में डिक्टेशन, फ़िल इन द ब्लैंक्स एवं रैपिड फायर राउंड जैसे रोचक चरण आयोजित किए गए। इस प्रतियोगिता में शिखर अवस्थी (राप्रावि डांडा लाखोंड, देहरादून) ने प्रथम स्थान, सागर कुमार (राप्रावि खलियान, रुद्रप्रयाग) ने द्वितीय स्थान, एवं नितिन कुमार (पीएम रा.आ.प्रा.वि कपकोट) ने तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया।

वहीं, मैथ्स विजार्ड प्रतियोगिता में हर्षित (राप्रावि सौला, अल्मोड़ा) ने प्रथम स्थान, उदित जोशी (राप्रावि गुरना बिन, पिथौरागढ़) ने द्वितीय स्थान, एवं अंश सिंह (रा.प्रा.वि तितराना, टिहरी) ने तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया।

विजेताओं को पुरस्कृत किया गया

शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत ने प्रथम एवं द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले प्रतिभागियों को टेबलेट, प्रमाण पत्र, रिस्ट वॉच, स्कूल बैग, ट्रैक सूट एवं स्टेशनरी वितरित किए। वहीं, अन्य सभी प्रतिभागियों को स्कूल बैग, रिस्ट वॉच, ट्रैक सूट एवं स्टेशनरी देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

शिक्षा मंत्री का संदेश

शिक्षा मंत्री ने इस अवसर पर कहा कि राज्य सरकार शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित करने हेतु प्रतिबद्ध है। उन्होंने बताया कि विद्यालयों में वर्चुअल कक्षाएं एवं तकनीकी सुविधाओं का विस्तार किया जा रहा है। उत्तराखंड, बाल वाटिका संचालित करने वाला पहला राज्य है और अपवंचित वर्ग के बच्चों के लिए नेता जी सुभाष चंद्र बोस आवासीय विद्यालय संचालित किए जा रहे हैं।

उन्होंने कहा कि मैथ्स विजार्ड एवं स्पेल जीनियस जैसी प्रतियोगिताएं गुणवत्तायुक्त शिक्षा के वातावरण को बढ़ावा देती हैं तथा इससे विद्यार्थियों की गणितीय दक्षता एवं वर्तनी कौशल में सुधार होता है। इसके साथ ही, ये प्रतियोगिताएं छात्रों को प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं के लिए तैयार करने में सहायक होती हैं। उन्होंने आगे भी इस तरह की प्रतियोगिताओं को निरंतर आयोजित करने के निर्देश दिए।

इस अवसर पर दूरस्थ विद्यालयों से आए अभिभावकों एवं एस्कॉर्ट अध्यापकों को भी सम्मानित किया गया। शिक्षा मंत्री ने सभी प्रतिभागियों, शिक्षकों एवं अभिभावकों को शुभकामनाएं दीं।

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर SCERT में सम्मान एवं अभिनंदन समारोह

देहरादून, 7 मार्च: अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर SCERT के ऑडिटोरियम में एक गरिमामयी सम्मान एवं अभिनंदन समारोह आयोजित किया गया। इस विशेष अवसर पर निदेशक (अकादमिक, शोध एवं प्रशिक्षण) बंदना गर्ब्याल ने अपनी पूज्य माताजी के साथ कार्यक्रम में शिरकत की। परिषद में कार्यरत सभी महिला संकाय सदस्य, प्रदेश की शिक्षिकाएं तथा अन्य महिलाओं का हर्षोल्लास के साथ अभिनंदन किया गया।

अपने प्रेरणादायक संदेश में निदेशक बंदना गर्ब्याल ने महिलाओं को अपने अधिकारों और प्राप्त अवसरों पर गर्व करने के बजाय स्वाभिमानी बनने की अपील की। उन्होंने अपनी माताजी को आत्मीयता के साथ मंच से नमन किया और अपने जीवन व करियर में माता-पिता की अमूल्य भूमिका पर प्रकाश डाला। इस दौरान उन्होंने अपनी मातृभाषा 'रं' में महिला शक्ति पर काव्य वाचन किया, जिससे पूरे सदन में ऊर्जा और जागरूकता का संचार हुआ।

कार्यक्रम के मंच संचालक डॉ. अवनीश उनियाल ने निदेशक की प्रशंसा करते हुए कहा कि उनके नेतृत्व में राज्य एवं देश में शिक्षा की गुणवत्ता और सद्भाव का स्तर अनुकरणीय रहा है। इस अवसर पर प्रदेशभर से आईटी विभाग में प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रही शिक्षिकाओं ने भी महिला सम्मान और शक्ति पर अपने विचार प्रस्तुत किए।

शिक्षिका अरुणिमा  शर्मा ने महिलाओं की शक्ति को एक शेरनी की उपमा देते हुए प्रेरणादायक वृतांत साझा किए, जिससे सभी उपस्थितजन प्रभावित हुए। वहीं, सुनील भट्ट, विनय थपलियाल, डॉ. मनोज शुक्ला, भुवनेश पंत, कमलेश आदि ने महिला सम्मान एवं उनके प्रति सजीवता और आदर बनाए रखने पर जोर दिया। 

डॉ. साधना डिमरी ने वैदिक काल की महान विदुषी मैत्रेयी के संदेश का संस्कृत में वाचन कर एक नई प्रेरणा दी। इस दौरान उपनिदेशक शैलेश श्रीवास्तव एवं परिषद के संकाय सदस्यों ने निदेशक एवं उनकी माताजी को पुष्पगुच्छ भेंट कर सम्मानित किया। साथ ही, परिषद के पुरुष संकाय सदस्यों द्वारा सभी महिला शिक्षिकाओं और संकाय सदस्याओं को पुष्प अर्पित कर अभिनंदन किया गया।

इस आयोजन ने न केवल महिला सशक्तिकरण की भावना को प्रबल किया, बल्कि समाज में महिलाओं के योगदान और उनकी गरिमा को सम्मान देने का संदेश भी दिया।
