भावनाओं से सराबोर रहा SCERT परिवार का विदाई समारोह: डॉ. संजीव चेतन एवं नीलम पंवार को दी गई सम्मानपूर्ण विदाई, वर्षों की समर्पित सेवाओं को किया गया नमन

राज्य शैक्षिक अनुसंधान एवं प्रशिक्षण परिषद (SCERT), उत्तराखण्ड के प्रेक्षागृह (ऑडिटोरियम) में आज का दिन भावनाओं, आत्मीयता और सम्मान से परिपूर्ण रहा। परिषद के कला संकाय के प्रवक्ता डॉ. संजीव चेतन तथा पाठ्यक्रम विभाग की प्रवक्ता  नीलम पंवार को अधिवर्षता आयु पूर्ण होने पर पूरे SCERT परिवार की ओर से गरिमामय विदाई दी गई।

समारोह में SCERT के अधिकारी, संकाय सदस्य, कर्मचारी तथा दोनों प्रवक्ताओं के परिवारजन उपस्थित रहे। सभी ने अपने-अपने अनुभव साझा करते हुए उनके लंबे, समर्पित और प्रेरणादायी सेवाकाल को याद किया। कार्यक्रम केवल एक औपचारिक विदाई नहीं था, बल्कि उन दो व्यक्तित्वों के प्रति कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करने का अवसर था जिन्होंने वर्षों तक SCERT की कार्यसंस्कृति, शैक्षिक गुणवत्ता और संस्थागत गरिमा को नई ऊँचाइयों तक पहुँचाने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया।

डॉ. संजीव चेतन : कला, संस्कृति और शिक्षा का अद्भुत संगम

डॉ. संजीव चेतन केवल एक प्रवक्ता नहीं, बल्कि बहुआयामी प्रतिभा के धनी व्यक्तित्व हैं। वे एक उत्कृष्ट चित्रकार, संगीतकार, ऑर्केस्ट्रा कलाकार, रंगमंच कर्मी और संवेदनशील शिक्षक के रूप में पूरे राज्य में अपनी अलग पहचान रखते हैं। लगभग 35 वर्षों की राजकीय सेवा के दौरान उन्होंने शिक्षा विभाग को अनेक उपलब्धियाँ प्रदान कीं तथा स्वयं भी राष्ट्रीय एवं राज्य स्तर पर अनेक सम्मानों से सम्मानित हुए।

SCERT परिसर की कला दीर्घा (Art Gallery) आज उनकी सृजनशीलता की जीवंत पहचान है। उनके द्वारा बनाई गई अनेक चित्रकृतियाँ परिषद की शोभा बढ़ाती हैं और देश-विदेश से आने वाले अतिथियों का ध्यान आकर्षित करती हैं। अनेक अवसरों पर उन्होंने अपनी चित्रकृतियों को पुरस्कार एवं सम्मान-स्वरूप भी भेंट किया, जिससे कला के प्रति उनका समर्पण और अधिक स्पष्ट होता है।

समारोह में उनकी पत्नी, पुत्र, पुत्रवधू एवं पोते की उपस्थिति ने पूरे कार्यक्रम को पारिवारिक आत्मीयता से भर दिया।

नीलम पंवार : कर्तव्यनिष्ठा, अनुशासन और पाठ्यक्रम विकास की सशक्त पहचान

पाठ्यक्रम विभाग की वरिष्ठ प्रवक्ता नीलम पंवार ने अपने सेवाकाल में सदैव निष्ठा, अनुशासन और जिम्मेदारी के साथ विभागीय कार्यों का निर्वहन किया। पाठ्यक्रम विकास, शैक्षिक दस्तावेजों के निर्माण तथा विभागीय गतिविधियों में उनकी भूमिका सदैव महत्वपूर्ण रही।

उनके सहयोगियों ने उन्हें एक शांत, समर्पित और कर्मप्रधान अधिकारी के रूप में याद किया। उनके कार्यों ने SCERT की शैक्षिक गतिविधियों को मजबूत आधार प्रदान किया और आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण स्थापित किया।

समारोह में उनकी माता जी, पति तथा बेटी भी उपस्थित रहे। परिवार के सदस्यों ने अपने अनुभव साझा करते हुए उनके संघर्ष, समर्पण और पारिवारिक संतुलन की सराहना की।

निदेशक अकादमिक बन्दना गर्ब्याल ने अत्यंत भावुक शब्दों में दोनों सेवानिवृत्त अधिकारियों को शुभकामनाएँ दीं। उन्होंने कहा कि SCERT आज दो ऐसे अनुभवी एवं समर्पित संकाय सदस्यों को विदा कर रहा है जिनकी कमी लंबे समय तक महसूस की जाएगी।

डॉ. संजीव चेतन के बारे में उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी कला, सृजनशीलता और संस्थान के प्रति समर्पण ने SCERT को एक सांस्कृतिक पहचान प्रदान की है। उन्होंने वर्षों तक अपनी चित्रकला और रचनात्मक दृष्टि से परिषद के वातावरण को समृद्ध बनाया।

नीलम पंवार के संदर्भ में उन्होंने कहा कि वे अत्यंत कर्तव्यनिष्ठ संकाय  रही हैं। विभागीय दायित्वों के निर्वहन में कई बार समयबद्ध कार्यों को लेकर उन्हें निर्देश भी देने पड़े, किन्तु उनका उद्देश्य सदैव विभागीय कार्यों को समय पर पूर्ण कराना रहा। उन्होंने कहा कि नीलम पंवार ने हर जिम्मेदारी को गंभीरता से निभाया और अपने कार्यों से सदैव विश्वास अर्जित किया।

समारोह के दौरान उन्होंने दोनों अधिकारियों के परिवार के अग्रज  को सम्मानपूर्वक प्रणाम किया, शॉल ओढ़ाकर एवं पुष्पगुच्छ भेंट कर उनका अभिनंदन किया। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से कहा कि जो व्यक्ति अपने माता-पिता का सम्मान करता है, वह जीवन में सदैव समृद्ध और सुखी रहता है।

अपर निदेशक  पद्मेंद्र सकलानी ने दोनों संकाय सदस्यों के योगदान को अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण बताते हुए कहा कि SCERT परिवार आज अपने दो अनुभवी स्तंभों को विदा कर रहा है।

उन्होंने  नीलम पंवार की माता जी के चरण स्पर्श कर उनका आशीर्वाद लिया तथा उनके दीर्घ एवं स्वस्थ जीवन की कामना की। उन्होंने कहा कि माता-पिता के संस्कार ही व्यक्ति को उत्कृष्ट बनाते हैं और आज दोनों अधिकारियों की कार्यशैली में उन्हीं संस्कारों की झलक दिखाई देती है।

उन्होंने विश्वास व्यक्त किया कि सेवानिवृत्ति के बाद भी जब कभी SCERT को उनके अनुभव और मार्गदर्शन की आवश्यकता होगी, दोनों अधिकारी सदैव संस्थान के साथ खड़े रहेंगे।

डॉ. संजीव चेतन का संदेश

अपने उद्बोधन में डॉ. संजीव चेतन ने अनेक संस्मरण साझा करते हुए कहा कि कला केवल चित्र बनाने का माध्यम नहीं, बल्कि मनुष्यता को समझने और लोगों को जोड़ने का माध्यम है। उन्होंने कहा कि वर्षों तक SCERT में कार्य करते हुए उन्हें कभी यह अनुभव नहीं हुआ कि वे किसी कार्यालय में नौकरी कर रहे हैं। उन्हें सदैव ऐसा लगा जैसे वे अपने ही परिवार के बीच कार्य कर रहे हों।

उन्होंने कहा कि हर नई जिम्मेदारी ने उन्हें नए अनुभव दिए और हर सहयोगी ने उनके जीवन को समृद्ध बनाया। उन्होंने सभी अधिकारियों, सहयोगियों और कर्मचारियों के प्रति हृदय से आभार व्यक्त किया तथा कहा कि जीवन का यह अध्याय समाप्त अवश्य हुआ है, लेकिन SCERT से उनका आत्मीय रिश्ता सदैव बना रहेगा।

नीलम पंवार का संदेश

नीलम पंवार ने अपने सेवाकाल की स्मृतियों को साझा करते हुए कहा कि उन्होंने सदैव पूरी निष्ठा, ईमानदारी और जिम्मेदारी के साथ अपने दायित्वों का निर्वहन करने का प्रयास किया।

उन्होंने भावुक स्वर में कहा कि यदि कभी अनजाने में किसी कार्य में कोई कमी रह गई हो या किसी सहयोगी को उनसे किसी प्रकार की असुविधा हुई हो, तो वे उसके लिए क्षमा चाहती हैं। उन्होंने पूरे SCERT परिवार द्वारा मिले सहयोग, स्नेह और विश्वास के लिए सभी का हृदय से धन्यवाद व्यक्त किया।

डॉ. संजीव चेतन के अत्री पुत्र ने अपने पिता की अनुशासित कार्यशैली और शिक्षा के प्रति समर्पण को प्रेरणास्रोत बताते हुए कहा कि घर में अक्सर नई शिक्षा नीति जैसे विषयों पर उनके साथ लंबी चर्चा और बहस होती रही है। उन्हीं संवादों से उन्हें जीवन की अनेक महत्वपूर्ण सीख मिली हैं।

नीलम पंवार की बेटी ने कहा कि यदि आज वह अपने पसंदीदा क्षेत्र फैशन डिज़ाइनिंग में सफल है, तो उसका सबसे बड़ा श्रेय उनकी माता को जाता है, जिन्होंने सदैव उन्हें अपनी रुचि के अनुसार आगे बढ़ने की स्वतंत्रता और प्रोत्साहन दिया।

नीलम पंवार के पति ने सरल शब्दों में कहा कि अब दोनों जीवन के नए चरण में प्रवेश कर रहे हैं और अपने अनुभवों तथा मधुर स्मृतियों के साथ समाज के लिए सकारात्मक योगदान देने का प्रयास जारी रखेंगे।

सहायक निदेशक डॉ. के. एन. बिजल्वाण ने कहा कि डॉ. संजीव चेतन और श्रीमती नीलम पंवार विभाग के ऐसे स्तंभ हैं जिनके योगदान को सदैव सम्मानपूर्वक याद किया जाएगा। कार्यक्रम का संचालन  सुनील भट्ट ने अपने विशिष्ट शायरी अंदाज़ में किया। उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षा विभाग में इन दोनों अधिकारियों द्वारा किए गए कार्य आने वाले वर्षों तक प्रेरणा देते रहेंगे और उनकी सेवाएँ सदैव स्मरणीय रहेंगी।

समारोह के अंत में पूरे SCERT परिवार ने दोनों सम्मानित अधिकारियों को पुष्पगुच्छ, स्मृति-चिन्ह एवं शुभकामनाएँ भेंट कर उनके स्वस्थ, सुखद और सक्रिय जीवन की कामना की। सेवानिवृत्ति केवल सेवा का समापन नहीं होती, बल्कि अनुभव, ज्ञान और संस्कारों की नई यात्रा का आरंभ होती है। डॉ. संजीव चेतन और श्रीमती नीलम पंवार ने अपने कार्यों, व्यवहार और समर्पण से जो विरासत SCERT को दी है, वह आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए सदैव प्रेरणा का स्रोत बनी रहेगी।

एक समर्पित शिक्षा प्रशासक/निदेशक डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती शिक्षा विभाग से सेवानिवृत्त, शिक्षा परिवार ने दी विदाई

उत्तराखण्ड विद्यालयी शिक्षा विभाग के लिए 30 जून 2026 का दिन भावनाओं से भरा रहा। विभाग के वरिष्ठ एवं अनुभवी प्रशासनिक अधिकारी डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती, जिन्होंने वर्तमान में निदेशक माध्यमिक शिक्षा, निदेशक प्रारम्भिक शिक्षा (प्रभारी) तथा अपर राज्य परियोजना निदेशक, समग्र शिक्षा के महत्वपूर्ण दायित्वों का सफलतापूर्वक निर्वहन किया, आज अपनी अधिवर्षता आयु पूर्ण करने के उपरांत राजकीय सेवा से सेवानिवृत्त हो गए।

उनके सम्मान में आयोजित विदाई समारोह में उत्तराखण्ड के विद्यालयी शिक्षा मंत्री डॉ. धन सिंह रावत विशेष रूप से उपस्थित रहे। शिक्षा मंत्री ने डॉ. सती को उनके सफल, अनुकरणीय एवं प्रेरणादायी सेवाकाल के लिए बधाई देते हुए उनके उत्तम स्वास्थ्य, दीर्घायु एवं सुखद भविष्य की कामना की। उन्होंने कहा कि डॉ. सती ने अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान अनेक महत्वपूर्ण निर्णय समयबद्ध एवं दूरदर्शी दृष्टिकोण के साथ लिए, जिनका सकारात्मक प्रभाव सम्पूर्ण विद्यालयी शिक्षा व्यवस्था पर पड़ा। उन्होंने विभाग के विकास में उनके उल्लेखनीय योगदान की सराहना करते हुए उन्हें एक कुशल प्रशासक एवं संवेदनशील अधिकारी बताया।

विद्यालयी शिक्षा सचिव रवीनाथ रामन ने डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती को एक कुशल प्रशासक, दूरदर्शी निर्णयकर्ता और परिणामोन्मुख नेतृत्वकर्ता बताया।

उन्होंने कहा कि डॉ. सती ने सदैव समय पर उचित निर्णय लेकर विभागीय व्यवस्थाओं को प्रभावी बनाया तथा विभिन्न योजनाओं एवं कार्यक्रमों के सफल क्रियान्वयन में उल्लेखनीय भूमिका निभाई। उनका प्रशासनिक अनुभव, कार्य के प्रति अनुशासन और टीम भावना विभाग की बड़ी शक्ति रही है।  उन्होंने कहा कि उनके नेतृत्व में विद्यालयी शिक्षा विभाग ने अनेक क्षेत्रों में उल्लेखनीय प्रगति प्राप्त की और आने वाले वर्षों में भी उनके कार्यों से नई पीढ़ी के अधिकारी प्रेरणा लेते रहेंगे।

महानिदेशक विद्यालयी शिक्षा आकांक्षा कोंडे ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती का व्यक्तित्व प्रशासनिक दक्षता और मानवीय संवेदनशीलता का उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण है। सचिव रवीनाथ रामन ने  कहा कि डॉ. सती ने विभागीय कार्यों को सदैव सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण, पारदर्शिता और समयबद्धता के साथ आगे बढ़ाया और उन्होंने कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी शांत और संतुलित निर्णय लेकर विभाग को निरंतर प्रगति की दिशा में अग्रसर किया।

महानिदेशक ने  कहा कि विद्यालयी शिक्षा विभाग को उनके अनुभव, नेतृत्व और मार्गदर्शन की कमी अवश्य महसूस होगी, किन्तु उनके द्वारा स्थापित कार्यसंस्कृति भविष्य में भी विभाग के लिए प्रेरणास्रोत बनी रहेगी।

निदेशक अकादमिक, शोध एवं प्रशिक्षण, बंदना गर्ब्याल ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि डॉ. मुकुल सती के साथ लंबे समय तक कार्य करने का अवसर उनके लिए अत्यंत प्रेरणादायी रहा। उन्होंने कहा कि डॉ. सती सदैव समय पर निर्णय लेने, कठिन परिस्थितियों में शांत रहकर समाधान खोजने तथा टीम भावना के साथ कार्य करने के लिए जाने जाते रहे हैं और उन्होंने भावुक होते हुए कहा कि आज विद्यालयी शिक्षा विभाग केवल एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी को नहीं, बल्कि एक ऐसे सक्षम, संवेदनशील और दूरदर्शी प्रशासक को विदा कर रहा है, जिनकी कार्यशैली आने वाली पीढ़ियों के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत बनी रहेगी।

समारोह में शिक्षा विभाग के अनेक वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों, विभिन्न निदेशालयों के अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने भी सहभागिता करते हुए डॉ. सती के साथ अपने कार्यानुभव साझा किए। सभी वक्ताओं ने उनके सहज, सरल एवं मानवीय व्यक्तित्व, सहयोगात्मक कार्यशैली तथा प्रत्येक कर्मचारी एवं अधिकारी के प्रति उनके आत्मीय व्यवहार को याद करते हुए भावपूर्ण शब्दों में अपनी श्रद्धा और सम्मान व्यक्त किया।

समारोह के दौरान अनेक अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने यह भी साझा किया कि डॉ. सती सदैव अपने सहयोगियों की समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए तत्पर रहते थे। चाहे संसाधनों की व्यवस्था हो, प्रशासनिक मार्गदर्शन हो या व्यक्तिगत सहयोग—उन्होंने हर स्तर पर अपने सहयोगियों का साथ दिया। उनकी विनम्रता, सहज उपलब्धता तथा मानवीय संवेदनशीलता ने उन्हें विभाग में सभी के बीच अत्यंत सम्मानित और लोकप्रिय बनाया।

अपने सेवाकाल के अंतिम संबोधन में डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती ने पूरे शिक्षा परिवार के प्रति गहरी कृतज्ञता व्यक्त की। उन्होंने कहा कि उनके कार्यकाल की प्रत्येक उपलब्धि विभाग के सभी अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों के सामूहिक सहयोग का परिणाम रही है। उन्होंने भावुक स्वर में कहा—

"जब भी, जहाँ भी किसी अधिकारी या कर्मचारी को मेरी आवश्यकता होगी, या मैं किसी के किसी भी कार्य में सहायक हो सकूँगा, तो आप सभी मुझे बिना किसी संकोच के अवश्य याद करें। मैं सदैव आपकी सेवा के लिए अग्रिम पंक्ति में खड़ा मिलूँगा।"

उनके इन आत्मीय शब्दों ने समारोह में उपस्थित सभी लोगों को भावुक कर दिया और पूरे सभागार में आत्मीयता एवं सम्मान का वातावरण दिखाई दिया।

डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती का सेवाकाल उत्तराखण्ड विद्यालयी शिक्षा विभाग के लिए प्रशासनिक दक्षता, नेतृत्व क्षमता, मानवीय मूल्यों तथा सकारात्मक कार्यसंस्कृति का एक उत्कृष्ट उदाहरण रहेगा। शिक्षा विभाग उनके योगदान को सदैव सम्मानपूर्वक स्मरण करेगा तथा उनके स्वस्थ, सुखमय एवं सक्रिय जीवन की मंगलकामना करता है।

SCERT Uttarakhand Participates in UNESCO International Webinar on Advanced AI Applications for Greening Education

In a significant global initiative to explore the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI), sustainability, and education, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE) in collaboration with the Weidong Cloud Education Group organized an international webinar titled "Advanced AI Applications for Greening Education" on 24 June 2026. The webinar brought together educators, researchers, policymakers, and academic leaders from different countries to discuss how AI can contribute to environmental sustainability and support greener education systems worldwide.

Representing SCERT Uttarakhand, Ramesh Prasad Badoni, IT Faculty, National ICT Awardee, and Fulbright Scholar, participated in the international event and engaged with experts and educators from across the globe. The webinar focused on transforming educational practices through AI-enabled solutions that support climate action, environmental awareness, and sustainable development goals.

Opening Session

The webinar was formally opened by Tatiana Suhova from UNESCO IITE, who welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of empowering educators with practical knowledge and innovative approaches to integrate sustainability and emerging technologies into teaching-learning processes. She emphasized that education institutions play a vital role in preparing future generations to address environmental challenges through responsible and ethical use of technology.

Distinguished International Speakers

The webinar featured a series of keynote presentations delivered by internationally recognized experts.

Sonia Savci (UNESCO Headquarters)

Topic: Greening Education in the Age of AI: Opportunities, Risks, and Questions Ahead

Ms. Sonia Savci introduced UNESCO's Greening Education Partnership and discussed how education systems can become more climate-responsive and sustainability-focused. She highlighted four major pillars of action:

• Greening Schools
• Greening Curriculum
• Greening Teacher Training and Education Systems
• Greening Communities

She posed four critical questions for educators worldwide:

• What does it mean to teach with AI for sustainability?
• How do we prepare learners to navigate AI critically in an era of misinformation?
• What is the environmental footprint of AI itself?
• How can education actively shape greener and more responsible AI futures?

Her presentation emphasized climate literacy, media and information literacy, responsible AI use, and integrating sustainability values into AI competency frameworks for students and teachers.

Dr. Margarita Pavlova

Education University of Hong Kong

Topic: AI and Greening Education for Sustainable Development

Dr. Pavlova explored the transformative potential of AI in supporting sustainability. She demonstrated how AI technologies can help society measure, optimize, and transform environmental systems through smart agriculture, resource management, renewable energy solutions, climate monitoring, and sustainable innovation.

She stressed that sustainability must become a core competency within education systems. Through concept-based learning and real-world problem solving, students can learn to apply AI for environmental monitoring, data analysis, pattern recognition, and sustainable decision-making.

Several inspiring examples were shared, including smart environmental systems, carbon footprint measurement tools, sustainable city planning, AI-powered agriculture, and innovative clean-air technologies such as smog-free towers.

A key takeaway from her session was that education should move beyond memorization toward meaningful learning that enables students to understand and solve sustainability challenges.

Dr. Oksana Novikova

UNESCO Chair on Distance Education in Engineering, State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI), Russia

Topic: AI Applications for Greening Education: Creativity, Reliability and Critical Thinking

Dr. Novikova demonstrated practical AI applications that educators can use immediately in classrooms and training programs. Her presentation showcased several tools and platforms for environmental learning, content creation, and educational innovation.

The tools highlighted included:

Prof. Madya Dr. Nurfaradilla Mohamad Nasri

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia

Topic: Shaping Sustainable Futures through AI Literacy: Insights from Teacher Education and Practice

Prof. Nasri focused on preparing future generations through AI literacy and sustainability-oriented education. She challenged educators with an important question:

"By 2030, do we need graduates who can simply use AI, or graduates who can solve climate change, energy challenges, food insecurity, and environmental degradation using AI?"

She presented UNESCO's AI Competency Framework for Teachers, which includes:

• Ethics and Responsible Use

• AI Pedagogy
• Lifelong Professional Development

Her presentation demonstrated that when AI is connected to authentic sustainability challenges, student engagement increases, collaboration improves, and learners become more reflective about their social and environmental responsibilities.

She also highlighted the importance of developing "Green Skills" and noted that the future workforce will require environmental literacy, digital literacy, AI literacy, and problem-solving capabilities to support sustainable economies.

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस 2026: विद्यालयी शिक्षा उत्तराखंड में स्वास्थ्य, अनुशासन और सकारात्मकता का उत्सव

 

21 जून 2026 को अंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस के अवसर पर विद्यालयी शिक्षा विभाग, उत्तराखंड के प्रांगण में योग एवं स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता का एक प्रेरणादायी आयोजन संपन्न हुआ। इस अवसर पर विद्यालयी शिक्षा परिवार के अधिकारियों, कर्मचारियों, शिक्षकों एवं विभिन्न इकाइयों के प्रतिनिधियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक सहभागिता करते हुए योग को अपने जीवन का अभिन्न अंग बनाने का संकल्प लिया।

कार्यक्रम का शुभारम्भ माध्यमिक शिक्षा निदेशक डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती  द्वारा दीप प्रज्ज्वलन के साथ किया गया। दोनों अधिकारियों ने उपस्थित सभी प्रतिभागियों को योग दिवस की शुभकामनाएँ देते हुए स्वस्थ जीवनशैली अपनाने का संदेश दिया।

योग प्रशिक्षकों के मार्गदर्शन में सभी प्रतिभागियों ने प्राणायाम, ध्यान तथा विभिन्न योगासन का अभ्यास किया। लगभग एक घंटे तक चले इस सत्र में प्रतिभागियों ने पूर्ण समर्पण और उत्साह के साथ योगाभ्यास किया। प्रशिक्षकों ने समय-समय पर आवश्यक निर्देश देते हुए योग की सही तकनीकों और मुद्राओं का प्रदर्शन किया, जिससे सभी प्रतिभागी सुरक्षित एवं प्रभावी ढंग से योग का अभ्यास कर सकें।

निदेशक अकादमिक शोध एवं प्रशिक्षण वंदना गर्ब्याल ने अपने संबोधन मेंअंतर्राष्ट्रीय योग दिवस 2026 की थीम पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि वर्तमान समय में योग केवल एक शारीरिक गतिविधि नहीं, बल्कि स्वस्थ एवं संतुलित जीवन का आधार बन चुका है। उन्होंने विशेष रूप से अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों से आग्रह किया कि बढ़ती आयु और कार्यगत व्यस्तताओं के बीच योग को अपनी दैनिक दिनचर्या का हिस्सा बनाना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। उन्होंने युवा अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों को भी योग आंदोलन को आगे बढ़ाने और इसे समाज के प्रत्येक वर्ग तक पहुँचाने के लिए प्रेरित किया।

उन्होंने कहा कि विद्यालयों में योग संस्कृति को और अधिक सशक्त बनाना समय की आवश्यकता है ताकि विद्यार्थी प्रारम्भिक अवस्था से ही स्वास्थ्य, अनुशासन, एकाग्रता एवं मानसिक संतुलन के महत्व को समझ सकें। उन्होंने आयोजन के सफल संचालन हेतु डॉ. मुकुल कुमार सती को बधाई एवं धन्यवाद भी दिया।

कार्यक्रम का प्रारम्भिक संचालन डॉ. भगवती मेंदोली द्वारा किया गया। आयोजन में अपर निदेशक पद्मेंद्र सकलानी, कुंवर सिंह , संयुक्त निदेशक जे पी काला एवं वित्त अधिकारी सहित विभाग के अनेक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी उपस्थित रहे। कार्यक्रम के प्रशासनिक समन्वयक उपनिदेशक पंकज शर्मा ने समस्त व्यवस्थाओं का कुशल संचालन किया तथा प्रतिभागियों के लिए आवश्यक सुविधाओं का ध्यान रखा।

योग सत्र की शुरुआत में उप निदेशक पंकज शर्मा के समन्वयन मे सभी प्रतिभागियों को विशेष योगा टी-शर्ट प्रदान की गई, जिससे पूरे परिसर में एकरूपता और उत्साह का वातावरण दिखाई दिया। कार्यक्रम के समापन पर जलपान की व्यवस्था की गई, जहाँ सभी अधिकारियों एवं कर्मचारियों ने आपसी संवाद और सौहार्दपूर्ण वातावरण के बीच योग दिवस के अनुभव साझा किए।

यह आयोजन केवल एक औपचारिक कार्यक्रम नहीं था, बल्कि स्वास्थ्य, मानसिक संतुलन, सकारात्मक सोच और सामूहिक सहभागिता का जीवंत उदाहरण बनकर उभरा। विद्यालयी शिक्षा उत्तराखंड द्वारा आयोजित यह योग दिवस कार्यक्रम इस संदेश के साथ संपन्न हुआ कि "स्वस्थ व्यक्ति ही स्वस्थ समाज और स्वस्थ राष्ट्र का निर्माण कर सकता है।" योग के माध्यम से व्यक्तिगत स्वास्थ्य के साथ-साथ सामाजिक और शैक्षिक विकास की दिशा में भी महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया जा सकता है।

A landmark moment for the teaching fraternity of India was witnessed with the official launch of the website of the Presidential Awardee Teachers’ Forum (PATF India), a national platform established to connect, empower, and celebrate teachers who have been honored with the National Award to Teachers and National ICT Award by the President of India.

The website was formally launched by Dr. Amarendra Behera, Joint Director, CIET-NCERT, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The virtual ceremony brought together more than 900 award-winning educators from across India, reflecting the collective strength and commitment of the country's most distinguished teachers.

The program commenced with a warm welcome by Imran Khan, President of PATF India, who highlighted the vision behind the forum and requested Dr. Behera to officially launch the portal. Following the launch, Khan provided a detailed presentation showcasing the various features of the website, its future roadmap, and the opportunities it will create for educators nationwide.

Mission Karmayogi Capacity Building Unit (CBU) Core Group Meeting Held at SCERT Uttarakhand

In an important step towards strengthening capacity building and professional development within the School Education Department, a Core Group Meeting of the Capacity Building Unit (CBU) under Mission Karmayogi was organized at the SCERT Uttarakhand auditorium, Dehradun. The meeting was chaired by Bandana Garbyal, Director, Academic Research and Training (ART), SCERT Uttarakhand, and coordinated by Pankaj Sharma, Deputy Director. Senior officers and representatives from various directorates and educational institutions of the state participated in the meeting.

The meeting focused on reviewing the implementation of the Capacity Building Plan (CBP) 2026–27 and strengthening the use of the iGOT Karmayogi Platform for professional learning and skill enhancement of officers, teachers, and employees of the School Education Department. The Capacity Building Unit has been constituted to identify training needs, develop learning pathways, and ensure effective implementation of capacity-building initiatives across the department.

During the meeting, R. P. Badoni, IT Faculty, SCERT Uttarakhand, presented a detailed progress report on departmental activities related to Mission Karmayogi. He shared updates on onboarding status of personnel on the iGOT platform, participation in online courses, completion percentages, training analytics, and department-wise progress. The presentation also highlighted key achievements, challenges, and future opportunities for improving learning engagement through digital platforms.

The core group reviewed the progress made since the previous meeting and discussed strategies for increasing course participation, monitoring learning outcomes, and improving training completion rates. Special attention was given to identifying departmental training requirements and mapping them with relevant courses available on the iGOT platform.

A significant discussion was held on the launch of new online training courses for officers, teachers, and educational administrators. Members deliberated on emerging competency requirements, future learning pathways, and the development of customized training modules aligned with departmental needs. The meeting also examined training gaps and explored measures for designing targeted capacity-building programmes to address them.

The committee further discussed the use of analytics and monitoring dashboards for tracking learner progress, course completion, and departmental performance. Strategies for effective implementation of Mission Karmayogi, formation of support cells, action planning, and role allocation were also reviewed. Participants shared suggestions for enhancing the user experience of the portal and resolving technical challenges faced during course enrolment and completion.

In her concluding remarks, Bandana Garbyal emphasized the importance of continuous professional development and encouraged all departments to actively utilize the Mission Karmayogi platform for building future-ready human resources. She highlighted that technology-enabled learning and competency-based training would play a vital role in strengthening educational governance and improving service delivery across Uttarakhand.

The meeting concluded with a collective commitment to accelerate capacity-building initiatives, strengthen monitoring mechanisms, and promote a culture of lifelong learning among educational officers, teachers, and staff members under the Mission Karmayogi framework.

Strengthening PM eVIDYA in Uttarakhand: Core Group Meeting Charts Future Roadmap for Digital Learning

 

A significant Core Group Meeting on the future expansion and strengthening of PM eVIDYA channels in Uttarakhand was organized at SCERT Uttarakhand under the guidance of Additional Director  Padmendra Saklani. The meeting focused on upcoming reforms, content development strategies, budget utilization, capacity building, and the long-term vision for the state's PM eVIDYA initiative.

The meeting began with a welcome address by PM eVIDYA State Coordinator  Pushpa Aswal, who outlined the objectives of the consultation and emphasized the need for collaborative efforts to enhance the quality and reach of educational broadcasting across the state.

A detailed presentation was delivered by Dr. K. N. Bijalwan, Nodal Officer, PM eVIDYA Uttarakhand. He presented the current status of the state's five PM eVIDYA channels and shared the proposed roadmap for the upcoming academic sessions. Special attention was given to the approved budget allocation of approximately ₹1.82 crore, which will support content creation, teacher training, studio production, technical operations, and channel management activities.

The meeting was attended by senior education officials, including the Chief Education Officer (CEO), Dehradun, and C. Praturi, Secretary, Uttarakhand Board of School Education, along with representatives from various departments and institutions. Their participation enriched the discussions with valuable suggestions and policy perspectives.

Saurabh Joshi provided technical support during the presentation sessions and facilitated the sharing of digital resources with participants. An open discussion was held where departmental heads and education experts proposed innovative approaches to make PM eVIDYA channels more engaging, inclusive, and learner-centric.

The meeting highlighted the importance of developing high-quality educational content aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the learning needs of students across different grades. It was decided that content development would be undertaken by experienced teachers and teacher educators from SCERT and DIETs across Uttarakhand. Their academic expertise will ensure that the content remains relevant, curriculum-aligned, and pedagogically sound.

The technical implementation and broadcasting support are expected to be strengthened through collaboration with NIELIT and other technical partners. The IT team also participated actively in the meeting and presented various technological solutions for content production, digital archiving, online dissemination, and monitoring of educational broadcasts.

Participants discussed future plans including advanced teacher training programmes, development of interactive learning resources, integration of digital tools, improved student engagement strategies, and expansion of educational content for diverse learner groups.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to transform PM eVIDYA into a more dynamic, accessible, and impactful platform for school education in Uttarakhand. Through coordinated efforts of SCERT, DIETs, technical experts, and educational administrators, the initiative aims to provide quality digital learning opportunities to every learner across the state.

The deliberations reflected Uttarakhand's continued dedication to leveraging technology for educational equity, innovation, and excellence, ensuring that PM eVIDYA remains a strong pillar of the state's digital education ecosystem.

Indian Educator Raises Call for Peace Education at Global ISCP Webinar 2026

The International Summit Council for Peace (ISCP), in collaboration with the Universal Peace Federation (UPF), organized a prestigious international webinar on 18 June 2026 under the theme “The Future of the Rules-Based World Order: Where Do We Go From Here?”. The webinar brought together nearly 300 distinguished participants, including former Presidents, global leaders, researchers, scholars, scientists, diplomats, educators, and peace advocates from different regions of the world.

The event featured eminent speakers including H.E. Dr. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, former President of the Philippines, H.E. Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, former President of Nigeria, H.E. Dr. Anthony Carmona, former President of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Tageldin Ibrahim Hamad, International President of the Universal Peace Federation, and Dr. Franco Famularo, Global Coordinator of the International Summit Council for Peace. The discussions focused on strengthening global cooperation, addressing emerging international challenges, and promoting peace through dialogue and shared leadership.

Representing India, Ramesh Prasad Badoni, IT Faculty at SCERT Uttarakhand, researcher, National ICT Awardee, and Fulbright Scholar, actively participated in the webinar. During the interactive session, he raised an important question on the role of education in building a peaceful future:

"How can education systems be redesigned to cultivate values of peace, empathy, intercultural understanding, and responsible global citizenship among young people?"

His question highlighted the growing need for education systems worldwide to move beyond academic achievement and focus on developing values, compassion, tolerance, and global responsibility among learners. The issue received appreciation from participants as peace education is increasingly being recognized as an essential component for achieving sustainable development and social harmony.

Responding to the question raised by Ramesh Prasad Badoni on redesigning education systems for peace, empathy, and global citizenship, Dr. Tageldin Ibrahim Hamad emphasized that education should not focus solely on technology and academic achievement. He stated that while technology is important, the foundation of education must remain rooted in values, compassion, character, and humanity. According to him, peace begins when learners develop empathy, respect for diversity, and concern for others. He stressed that schools and universities should nurture these human values alongside modern knowledge and digital skills.

Dr. Hamad also highlighted the vital role of women in building peaceful societies. He noted that women often demonstrate greater compassion, wisdom, patience, and commitment to community welfare. Therefore, he advocated for stronger representation of women in leadership, governance, education, peace-building initiatives, and decision-making processes at all levels. He remarked that many of the world's challenges could be addressed more effectively when women are empowered to participate fully in shaping policies and social development. His message reinforced the belief that a peaceful and sustainable future depends on both value-based education and the meaningful inclusion of women as leaders and change-makers.

The International Summit Council for Peace (ISCP) was established in 2019 to bring together current and former heads of state and government to explore solutions to critical global challenges such as climate change, conflicts, poverty, corruption, and family breakdown. ISCP promotes the principles of interdependence, mutual prosperity, and universal values in its efforts to build a peaceful and prosperous world.

The webinar concluded with a collective call for stronger international cooperation, ethical leadership, and education-driven peacebuilding initiatives to create a more harmonious future for humanity.
