Empowering Young Minds Through Digital Learning: CLAP Uttarakhand April 2026 Impact Report

CLAP Digital Literacy Program Continues to Transform Learning in Uttarakhand Schools

The Continued Learning Access Project (CLAP), a collaborative initiative of SARD and SCERT Uttarakhand, continued its mission of empowering children through digital literacy during April 2026. The program successfully reached students across multiple government primary, junior, high, and intermediate schools in Dehradun district, providing them with hands-on exposure to technology-enabled learning.

Through the use of HP laptops, digital learning resources, and interactive educational content, students from Classes 3 to 10 engaged in Mathematics, Science, and English learning activities aligned with their school curriculum. The initiative focused on strengthening foundational learning while enhancing digital skills, critical thinking, creativity, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

The report highlights encouraging student participation across schools, with attendance ranging from 54% to 86%. Notably, Primary and Junior Sunderwala recorded the highest participation rate of approximately 86%, while Garhwali Colony and Vani Vihar schools also demonstrated strong engagement. Students actively participated in digital lessons covering topics such as Addition, Building with Bricks, Rational Numbers, Nutrition in Plants, Crop Production, Chemical Reactions, and various English language activities including storytelling, reading, vocabulary development, and puzzle-solving.

The CLAP sessions created an interactive and motivating learning environment where students and teachers enthusiastically embraced digital education. By integrating technology into classroom learning, the project is helping bridge the digital divide and preparing students for a technology-driven future. The Report April 2026 report demonstrates that CLAP is not only supporting academic achievement but also fostering confidence, curiosity, and digital readiness among young learners across Uttarakhand.
