The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Uttarakhand successfully organised an online Expert & Resource Contributor Coordination Webinar on 22 August 2026 from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM as part of the preparations for the forthcoming State Level Teacher–Student Innovation Hackathon 3.0.
The webinar brought together national and international experts, educators, researchers, AI/EdTech professionals, developers, innovators, STEM and robotics experts, school leaders and industry professionals to develop a strong resource and mentoring ecosystem for students, teachers and educators participating in Hackathon 3.0. The official invitation outlined the objective of allocating responsibilities for expert resources, tutorials and mentoring support.
From Real-World Problems to AI & Digital Solutions
Hackathon 3.0 is being envisioned as an innovation platform where participants will identify real-world challenges and transform their ideas into practical AI-enabled and Digital Solutions.
The central journey of the initiative is:

Director academic Bandana Garbyal inagurated the meet and welcome the participants experts for hackathon 3.0. During the webinar, the experts were oriented towards contributing short video tutorials, practical demonstrations, presentations, resource materials, prototype-development guides, online expert sessions, mentoring and step-by-step technical support.
Coordinator of Hackathon 3.0 Ramesh Badoni presented the event details and expected work in format and real time was detailed. The proposed resource-development areas include Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Coding, App/Web Development, Robotics, IoT, STEM, No-Code/Low-Code Tools, Data Analytics, AR/VR, Cyber Safety, Design Thinking and other emerging digital technologies. The resources are intended to help participants develop solutions to challenges in education, environment, climate change, disaster management, health, agriculture, tourism, rural development, girls’ education, women empowerment, inclusive education, accessibility, school management, road safety and cybersecurity.
Interaction with Experts and Allocation of Responsibilities
The webinar focused on establishing a collaborative mechanism through which experts can contribute according to their specialisation, professional experience and areas of interest. Discussion also centred on the expected format, duration and quality of tutorials/resources so that participants can receive practical and accessible guidance while developing their prototypes.
The initiative is expected to connect classroom innovation with expertise from universities, schools, research organisations, industry and the international education community.

Building a Global Mentoring Ecosystem for Uttarakhand’s Innovators

Their expertise will support participating students and teachers not merely in generating ideas but in understanding the process of designing, developing, testing and presenting workable digital prototypes.
SCERT Uttarakhand aims to create a sustainable expert-resource-mentor network through Hackathon 3.0 so that participants, including those from remote and rural areas, can gain access to contemporary knowledge, emerging technologies and practical guidance.
The official communication emphasises that the contribution of experts will help create a strong mentoring and resource-support ecosystem around the Hackathon 3.0 journey.
Towards an Innovation Culture in Uttarakhand
Hackathon 3.0 represents SCERT Uttarakhand’s continued effort to encourage problem-solving, creativity, design thinking, technological skills and responsible use of Artificial Intelligence among students, teachers and educators.
With national and international experts joining the initiative, Hackathon 3.0 is moving towards a collaborative model in which educational challenges are connected with technological possibilities and ideas are supported through structured learning resources and mentoring.
