Uttarakhand Celebrates National Teachers’ Award 2026 - Shri Gabar Singh Brings Pride to the State

It is a moment of immense pride for Uttarakhand as Shri Gabar Singh, teacher at Government Upper Primary School (Govt. UPS) Musyakhand, Maira, has been selected for the prestigious National Teachers’ Award (NAT) 2026.

The official list released by the Department of School Education and Literacy includes 48 distinguished teachers and educators from across India. Shri Gabar Singh represents Uttarakhand at Serial No. 46 in the national list.

The Secretary, School Education, Uttarakhand; Director General, School Education; Director, Academic Research & Training; and the entire education fraternity of Uttarakhand congratulated Shri Gabar Singh on this prestigious national recognition.
