SCERT Uttarakhand and Bharti Airtel
Foundation, through TheTeacherApp, launched the Continuous Professional
Development Program for Teachers of Uttarakhand, in collaboration with NITI
Aayog.
Launched on 24th July 2026 in Dehradun, the program brought together educators from across the state to advance continuous professional learning through technology-enabled resources, innovative teaching practices, and sustained capacity building.

Director, SCERT Uttarakhand; Dr K. N. Bijalwan, Assistant Director, SCERT
Uttarakhand; Dr Mehraj Alam, Principal, DIET Haridwar, Uttarakhand and Akhilesh Dobhal, Program Coordinator. From NITI Aayog, Lt. Colonel Jitendra
Verma, OSD attended the event virtually.
The initiative aims to equip teachers
with meaningful professional learning opportunities that enhance classroom
practices and improve learning outcomes for every child.
This initiative also reflects the shared commitment of Bharti Airtel Foundation and SCERT Uttarakhand to expand access to high-quality professional learning opportunities for teachers across the state.
