A proud moment for Uttarakhand as the state's pioneering work in AI-enabled teacher training received international recognition at the AI for Education Awards 2026.
During a special ceremony, Hon'ble Education Minister Dr Dhan Singh Rawat felicitated the team for achieving Global Finalist status in the prestigious Teacher Training Award category at the AI for Education Awards 2026, organised at Geneva.
The recognition celebrates the innovative project "Building Future-Ready Teachers through AI and ICT-Enabled MOOCs", developed under the guidance of SCERT Uttarakhand, which has empowered thousands of teachers through AI-driven professional development and digital capacity building.
