October 20-21, 2024 | District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Pithoragarh, UttarakhandIn commemoration of the 194th birth anniversary of Pandit Nain Singh Rawat, a two-day National Symposium (held on October 20–21, 2024) was organized at the District Education and Training Institute, Pithoragarh, DIET. The event’s chief guest was Mrs. Bandana Garbyal, Director, Academic Research and Training, Uttarakhand, and prominent historian, 'Padma Shri' awardee Mr. Shekhar Pathak, along with Gandhi and Philosophy expert Mr. Samir Banerjee, honored the event with their esteemed presence.
At this National Symposium, representatives from the district’s six-block education officers, speakers from the State’s District Education and Training Institutes, social science experts, and representatives from NCERT Uttarakhand also delivered their addresses. Mrs. Sudha Painuly and Dr. Sadhana Dimri provided notable presentations. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Pathak conducted the event.
